Shear & Scissor Sharpening Procedures:

All high quality beauty shears & thinners are sharpened using the Japanese Hamaguri Flat Hone.  See Credentials.  Each shear is analyzed to determine the proper procedure to restore the shear to factory or better performance, shears are then sharpened.  The shears are oiled, then go through a triple test cutting procedure.  Tension and balance is rechecked to assure customer satisfaction.

Standard Scissors

Standard scissors are treated with the same care as all high quality scissors, using the proper sharpening equipment, test procedures and adjustments required for that type of scissor.
