The Advanced Hamaguri Sharpening Machine is a multi-purpose sharpening machine unmatched in the sharpening world, with until now unheard of attachments that actually work with amazing ease and accuracy.  The Machine is designed to be used either horizontal or vertical with equal results.  Whether you choose to use the state of the art clamping fixture and arm assembly or free-hand sharpening the results are guaranteeable!

The cabinet is 16 gauge steel and is silver vane powder-coat painted with a top coat of clear baked-on acrylic for an attractive long lasting maintenance free finish.  The on-board rack for holding discs when not in use is a big plus in keeping the discs at hand and in order.

The Machine is designed to create a vortex to keep the majority of the dust created inside the cabinet and the machine is fitted with a wet filter to help hold down even more unwanted air-borne dust.

The motor is a permanent magnet DC brush type motor for long-lasting and cooler running.  It is virtually maintenance-free operating.  

The AC to DC speed controller is manufactured to operate the  Advanced Hamaguri Sharpening Machine for years with a very low amperage draw, and features an automatic brake each time The Machine is turned to the off or opposite direction positions.

The Magnetic Head is 5 3/4 inches in diameter allowing the 6 inch metal disc to overhang 1/16th inch making for easy and fast disc changing.  The Machine can be used with either PSA, or Hook & Loop or a combination of both.

The Clamping Attachment is precision made and easy to use for beveling or convexing, as well as extremely useful as a training tool.

The Articulating Arm Assembly is fitted with replaceable nylon bushings for a long life.  The arm is instantly removable from The Machine for your convenience.

The Machine is extremely portable for in salon use or mobile sharpening applications.

The Advanced Hamaguri Sharpening Machine Package includes an optional sine-wave inverter, for use in a mobile application, with your machine purchase.
