Call or e-mail to request one. 2008 Travel Training With winter rapidly exiting (we hope) Larry has started scheduling his traveling for the areas of the Eastern United States. This first training seminar will be held in Daytona Beach, Florida and the second seminar will be in Richmond, Virginia.

Richmond, Virginia Seminar on June 7th and June 8th, 2008
Lancing, Michigan On June 16th and June 17th, 2008 Cost for the 2-day seminar: $250.00
These are hands on training classes that will be limited to small groups of experienced sharpeners. By working in small groups we will be able to cover all the problems that sharpeners encountered on the various types of shears that are used today. In class we will cover Inside work, convexing, nicks, bending, and we will make even new shears look better. You will be training with your own equipment on convex edge, beveled edge shears, and thinners. The shears and thinners will be furnished and yours to keep along with other supplies. We will also be offering one-on-one hands on training along this route; there are exceptions for two people from the same company. All training is conducted by Larry Brooks, recognized and certified by the National Shear Sharpener's Guild as a Grand Master Sharpener.
